Eng. Jeko Jekov

Eng. Jeko Jekov has been the manager of SAT Engineering since the company establishment. He has extensive management and practical experience in the field of waterproofing and has been working in this field for 20 years. For 9 years he has been the executive director of one of the largest production companies for bitumen membranes in Bulgaria. For a period of 10 years he has been engaged in import, export and construction of various types of bitumen and synthetic waterproofing systems.

He has passed through a number of specializations in the field of waterproofing systems and materials: University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (Department of Building Materials and Insulations); Firestone (Belgium); Firestone (Slovakia); Mapei (Italy); Bramac.

In his practice, Eng. Jekov is guided by several basic principles, integrated into the philosophy of work and the values of the entire SAT Engineering team:

Deputy manager

Stefan Petrov

Stefan Petrov is Deputy Manager at SAT Engineering. He has been working in the field of waterproofing for 13 years and is closely specialized in the installation of synthetic membranes and the work in hard-to-reach places on the alpine method.

He has passed through various professional trainings and specializations in Bulgaria, Belgium and Germany – Firestone (TPO and PVC membranes), Mapei (TPO and PVC membranes), Icopal (TPO and PVC membranes), Bramac (ceramic tiles) and others.

Part of his main responsibilities in the structures of SAT Engineering are related to the quality control of the installation works performed and the construction of reliable complete waterproofing systems. His main guiding principle is the correctness in the relations with the contracting authorities and the maintenance of the highest standard of performance quality.

Chief engineer

eng. Nikolay Stoyanov

Eng. Nikolay Stoyanov is a chief engineer at SAT Engineering. He has been working in the field of waterproofing for 7 years and is directly specialized in the design and construction of waterproofing systems at infrastructure projects. In his practice, he has managed the construction activities on large strategic projects such as the Sofia underground, tunnels and landfill reclamation.

Eng. Stoyanov holds a Master’s degree in Hydro Construction from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, majoring in Hydro-melioration Construction. He is a member of the Chamber of Engineers in Investment Design, has full design capacity and has participated in the design of a number of hydro-technical facilities. He has undergone specialized Firestone training for TPO and EPDM membranes. He has completed a course at the International Federation of Consulting Engineers FIDIC (“Yellow Book of Engineering”).

In the implementation of the projects he manages, he always strives for objectivity and correctness. His main goal is to complete each task according to the highest requirements for professionalism, quality and precision.

Director marketing

dr. Maria Tsonova

Dr. Maria Tsonova has been working in the field of marketing, communications and sales for about 20 years. She graduated from the University of National and World Economy with a doctorate in Economics and Management. She holds a PSS qualification from the prestigious international company Achieve Global and is a certified Trainer Entrepreneurship by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (Bulgaria), Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Ministry of Administration of Foreign Affairs (Belgium).

For more than 10 years, Dr. Tsonova has worked as a marketing management consultant, assisting in the market strategy development of many companies in various industries – construction and architecture, real estate, FMCG, international education, trade and imports.

Immediately before joining the team of SAT Engineering, Dr. Tsonova held the position of Marketing Director of a large holding company with an investment portfolio of 20 subsidiaries – in the field of construction, hospitality and real estate. During this period, Dr. Tsonova guides the development of the marketing and sales strategy of the largest real estate project in Bulgaria.

In her work, Dr. Tsonova is guided by the principles of fairness and responsibility, striving to apply the highest standards of professionalism in all projects she manages.

Head of ProTeam – Bitumen Waterproofing Department

Danail Danin

Danail Danin heads the “ProTeam – bitumen waterproofing” department at SAT Engineering, being responsible for the installation and construction of bitumen waterproofing systems. He has been working in the field of waterproofing for 13 years and has proven to be one of the best specialists in the industry.

His responsibilities at SAT Engineering include the organization of bitumen waterproofing installation activities and the quality performance of the assigned task in strict compliance with the deadlines.

In his work, he is guided by the desire to maintain a high level of professionalism, correctness and responsibility.

Head of ExpertTeam – Synthetic Membranes

Ilian Dimitrov

Ilian Dimitrov heads the “ExpertTeam – synthetic membranes” department at SAT Engineering. His close specialization is in the construction of synthetic waterproofing systems, and he is one of the leading professionals in the field.

He has been working in the field of waterproofing for 6 years and is a certified construction technician. He has completed numerous specializations and professional trainings. He is certified by Firestone for EPDM and TPO/PVC membranes and is an authorized contractor of Icopal waterproofing systems.

In his work, he insists on the responsible attitude and the quality execution of the set tasks. The main goal he sets of each project is to achieve the best possible results.

Head of Concrete Injection and Repair Department

Vesselin Kolev

Vesselin Kolev heads the “Concrete Injection and repair” department at SAT Engineering and is one of the most established specialists in the field. He has been working in this specific field for 15 years and is specialized in all types of injection works and repairs on concrete structures.

The team he leads works in all areas of injection application and directions – injection of various types of strengthening materials; injection of concrete structures to stop leaks in basements; curtain injection.

In his work, he is guided by the professional experience gained over the years and his own know-how, always striving to provide the best mechanization, application of the latest technologies and use of highest quality materials

Head of Photovoltaic Systems

Georgi Lazarov

Georgi Lazarov heads the “Photovoltaic Systems” department at SAT ENGINEERING and is responsible for the construction of solar power plants for industrial enterprises, administrative-commercial sites and residential buildings. He has been working in the relevant field for more than 15 years and is specialized in the construction of photovoltaic, solar and thermal systems.

He has a professional qualification as an installer of solar power plants and is a certified electrician with the 4th qualification group.

His responsibilities at SAT ENGINEERING are related to the design, installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic installations. His work covers the following activities: situational analysis of the solar products market; comparative cost-benefit analysis; assessment of environmental aspects; choosing a suitable system; determination of energy requirements; legalization; connection to the national electricity grid.
